Glenn Vickery retired from his duties at Daphne after a dozen seasons as the head football coach. His teams went 107-41 and reached the playoffs each year. The 2010 team won a class 6A state championship with a win over Hoover. He retires with an overall record of 245-111 in 31 seasons at Mobile Christian, Davidson and Daphne. | |
Kenny King is a graduate of Daphne High School and the University of Alabama where he was a football star with both programs. He later played in the NFL for the Cardinals and the Ravens before retiring in 2008 due to injuries. He has served as the defensive line coach the past three seasons at Hamilton High in Chandler, Arizonia. | |
